In the fall, the land is blanketed in shades of yellow and purple as the sagebrush blooms in bright yellow and little purple daisy-like flowers bloom. It fronts on a good hard-packed dirt and gravel road, which is county maintained; so the land has year round access.
Stand on this piece of land and look in any direction and you will see mountains. The great Rocky Mountains surround the San Luis Valley of southern Colorado, where this land is located. The very closest mountains, the Sangre de Christos, begin about 7 miles to the east. The Rio Grande River, one of the biggest rivers in our nation, is just about 20 miles west of the land!
Directions:
From the main intersection in the town of San Luis, CO, (intersection of Hwys 142 and 159), go north almost 6 miles on Hwy 159 to CR X. (Note: CR X may show up as Hwy 82 on a GPS). Turn LEFT (West) on CR X and go 3 miles. Turn LEFT (South) and go 1 mile on Aztec Lane, a dirt and gravel, year round road. (Note: There is no street sign and road may appear as CR 65 on a GPS). You are now at the NE corner of the subdivision. We own several properties in the area. Specific directions to available lots will be provided upon request.
