San Luis Hill Country

Stand on this five-acre parcel of land and look in any direction and you will see mountains! The land offers tremendous views of the great Rocky Mountains, which surround the San Luis Valley of southern Colorado, where this land is located.  The very closest mountains, the Sangre de Christos, begin about 7 miles to the east.  In the Rockies, you can find most winter sports: skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, dune buggying, fishing, hunting, and hiking are as near as the mountains.  The Rio Grande River, one of the biggest rivers in our nation, is just about 20 miles west of the land!

This piece of land is located just north of San Luis, the oldest town in Colorado! It is up on a hill, covered with grass and brush.  In the fall, the land is blanked in shades of yellow and purple as the sagebrush blooms in bright yellow and as the little purple daisy-like flowers bloom.  This land has an elevation of about 7,500 feet, which is about a “mile and a half high in the Colorado sky!”
