Mount Blanca Estates

These five acre parcels are located between San Luis and Fort Garland, in sourthern Colorado.  The land is rather flat, rolling prairie, covered with grass and sagebrush.  In the fall,  the land is blanketed in shades of yellow and purple when the sagebrush blooms!  You will see some horses and cattle grazing in the general area plus antelope and little animals like rabbits and prairie dogs!  Each lot fronts on a good hard-packed dirt and gravel road, which is county maintained; so the land has year round access.

Blanca, the 3rd highest peak in Colorado at 14,300 feet, which can be easily viewed!  The very closest mountains, the Sangre de Christos, begin about 7 miles to the east. The Rio Grande River, one of the biggest rivers in our nation, is just about 20 miles west of the land!  There are many activities to do in the area such as hiking, fishing, hunting, river rafting, and winter sports such as sledding, snowskiing, and snowboarding!  San Luis and Fort Garland are very near and offer a few shops and restaurants and Alamosa is only about 45 minutes away!
